The empower journey continues… building a digital gateway to GE anytime, anywhere 

With phased launches throughout 2016, the empower platform is continuously evolving to include new functionality and incorporate customer feedback. The end result: an intuitive digital gateway that makes it easier to do business with GE. Keep reading for more details on this journey, including new features and what’s coming.

What’s New?

Customers can now enjoy the flexibility and convenience that comes with the new product pricing and availability functionality within empower. Powered by real-time data, empower delivers the information you need whether you’re using your phone, tablet or computer.

What Else is Available?

Today, empower also offers immediate access to improved order tracking and account management. Log into empower to immediately see a dashboard of order status for the last 150 orders. Search by PO or order number to quickly find order status. For more detail, click on an order for a dashboard overview of order line status and simply scroll to review each order line in detail.

What’s Coming Next?

Next month, we’ll be adding order tracking integration with shipment carriers and feedback options. We’re also progressing in our development of our next generation quotation functionality, which includes modern product configurators, powerful document generation tools and an overall faster, more efficient experience. Right now, we’re piloting these capabilities as we plan for an initial launch in North America in Q2.
